How We’re Celebrating May the 4th Across NYC
May the 4th has officially landed in New York City, and we’re fully tapped into the energy. Across Manhattan and beyond, Star Wars Day is bringing together film, community, nightlife, and immersive experiences in a way that only NYC can deliver. From daytime movie marathons to late-night trivia battles, we’re seeing the city transform into a playground for fans of Star Wars and beyond.
We’re not just watching from the sidelines. We’re moving through the city, experiencing it in real time, and sharing how to make the most of it.
We Started Uptown With the Original Trilogy
We kicked things off at Washington Heights Library, where the original trilogy is running back-to-back.
Time: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Location: 1000 Saint Nicholas Avenue
There’s something different about watching:
Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope
The Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
in a room full of people who know every line, every scene, every moment. It’s not passive viewing. It’s shared energy. We saw families, longtime fans, and first-timers all locked into the same experience. That kind of connection still hits.
Then We Headed Downtown for Something More Interactive
After the marathon, we made our way to Color Factory NYC in SoHo.
Time: Starting at 4:00 PM
Location: 251 Spring Street
This one flips the script. Instead of watching, you’re inside the experience. The themed “galactic” activation includes a ball pit challenge where finding a hidden RGB crystal unlocks a limited-edition “RGB Space Blade.”
We saw people go all-in with “starbound attire,” mixing cosplay with NYC streetwear. That blend of culture feels right at home here. It’s creative, a little chaotic, and fully immersive.
We’re Closing It Out With Trivia Across the City
Once the sun drops, the city shifts into competition mode. Trivia nights are everywhere, and we’re hitting a few key spots.
Back Uptown: Library Trivia
We’re circling back to Washington Heights Library for a Jeopardy-style game.
Time: 5:00 PM
This one’s about deep knowledge. Characters, lore, and details that only real fans catch.
Midtown Stop: Slattery’s
Slattery's Midtown Pub is bringing a more structured, high-energy trivia format.
Time: 7:00 PM
Entry: Ticketed with a $20 food and drink minimum
Expect competitive teams, fast-paced rounds, and questions that go beyond the basics.
East Village Finish: Maiden Lane
Maiden Lane is hosting an 8:00 PM session that blends neighborhood vibes with themed trivia.
This is where things loosen up a bit. Drinks flowing, conversations going, and plenty of debate over who actually knows the most.
We’re Not Stopping at Star Wars
What makes today in NYC different is that it doesn’t exist in a vacuum. While Star Wars Day is the headline, the rest of the city is still moving.
There’s a red-carpet pet gala happening. Live jazz performances are running across multiple neighborhoods. People are bouncing between completely different scenes throughout the day.
We’ve always said it. New York doesn’t do one thing at a time.
How We’re Elevating the Day
As we move through these events, we’re also seeing a clear shift in how people are building their experiences. It’s not just about where you go. It’s about how you show up.
That’s where we come in.
We’ve been watching more people step into licensed New York dispensaries before heading out, looking for something that matches the energy of the night. Whether it’s something to unwind after the movie marathon or something to bring into a social setting like trivia, the demand is there.
Our focus stays the same. High-THC, full-spectrum, small-batch products made right here in New York.

We’re in 150+ licensed dispensaries across the state, and restocks are actively moving as the weekend builds.
What We’re Seeing in Real Time
Today isn’t just about fandom. It’s about how culture evolves.
Star Wars started as a film and turned into something much bigger. What we’re seeing now is how that energy spreads into real-world experiences. Libraries, bars, art spaces, and local businesses all tapping into the same moment.
We’re seeing people build their own version of the day:
Starting with a film
Moving into an interactive experience
Ending with nightlife
And layering in their own preferences along the way.
Our Take
May the 4th in New York City continues to grow because it adapts. It meets people where they are. It gives options. It invites participation at every level.
We’re here for all of it.
We’re moving through the city, connecting with the culture, and making sure our community has what they need to elevate the experience. Whether you’re in it for the films, the trivia, the nightlife, or just the vibe, today delivers.
And if you’re stepping out tonight, we’ll see you out there.
